Tyler Harris is one and done at N.C. State.
“Tyler Harris has decided to transfer from N.C. State University this spring for personal reasons,” his father, Torrel, told SNY.tv.
“He is extremely grateful for the opportunity he has been given by the coaching staff, administration and fans.
“He looks forward to building on the experience he has gained during N.C. State’s tremendous Sweet 16 run.”
The 6-foot-8 Harris, the younger brother of Milwaukee Bucks rookie Tobias Harris, averaged just 1.8 points and 1.2 rebounds as a freshman.
The Long Island native will have three years of eligibility remaining.
He originally chose N.C. State over St. John’s, Wake Forest, Providence, Iowa, South Florida and UConn.
