Devonta Pollard will announce his college choice at 5 o’clock local time Friday at Porterville (Miss.) Kemper County High School, his AAU coach, Jeff Andrews, confirmed to SNY.tv.
“He’s come to the conclusion where he wants to go,” Jessie Pollard, Devonta’s mother, told ESPN.com.
Pollard is reportedly considering Alabama, Georgetown, Missouri or Texas.
Missouri is reportedly out of scholarships after taking Tulsa transfer Jordan Clarkson and former Georgetown assistant Robert Kirby, who was recruiting Pollard, is now at LSU.
That would leave Alabama and Texas as the favorites for the 6-foot-7 small forward.
