Baron Davis says the Knicks aren’t “jealous” of Jeremy Lin’s contract, but admits he’s “never seen” anything similar.
“To see a contract the way it’s been optioned out year-by-year, I’ve never seen anything like that,” Davis told MSG’s Mike Breen and Walt “Clyde” Frazier during the Knicks-Nuggets summer league game Tuesday, won by Denver. “That’s what [the Houston Rockets] did and they really wanted him bad so we’ll see what happens.”
If Lin ends up in Houston, as has been reported, Davis said big things will be expected of him because of his contract.
