Josh Brown, one of the top guards in the Class of 2013 out of the Sports U AAU program and two-time New Jersey Tournament of Champions winner St. Anthony, will be contributing periodically to ZAGSBLOG entering his senior season. Here’s his second entry:

    What’s up, basketball fans?

    AAU is finally over.

This past AAU year has been a blast. I’ve built a great relationship with everybody on my Sports U team that had a lot of success. We won a total of five championships and reached the final of a sixth (“Live in AC”} and everyone on the team picked up at least one scholarship offer.

My recruitment right now is going great. The main school thats have offered me and are showing the most interest are Penn State, Rhode Island, Providence, Temple, Nebraska and Xavier.

I’m going to visit each of these schools. Right now I have unofficials set up to Penn State next Wednesday (8/8), Providence Thursday (8/9) and Rhode Island that following Monday (8/13). I’m also working out a date to visit Xavier.

I have an unofficial to Nebraska Aug. 31-Sept. 2. I’m going to choose the rest of my official visits after a couple of unofficials. And of course I will visit Temple when I finish all my visits.

I’m not really rushing to make any decisions but I should definitely make my decision before my high school season starts.
