Chris McCullough is in the Class of 2014 and doesn’t have to make a college decision anytime soon.

Still, after visiting the Syracuse Elite Camp this week, he learned that 2013 Syracuse-bound point guard Tyler Ennis is working on him hard to join the Orange.

“He said you should come out there and play with me,” the 6-foot-10 McCullough told SNY.tv. “It’s too early [for a] decision but it could possibly happen.”

Ennis, a Toronto native who plays for St. Benedict’s Prep, verbally committed to Syracuse earlier this month and is now working on adding more talent around him.

“Syracuse did a great job of making sure that Chris felt at home with both the school and staff,” his AAU coach, Terrance “Munch” Williams, told SNY.tv. “It’s always special when the head coach can take some time to explain his plan for the future with the recruit. Coach Red [Adrian Autry] has done nothing but put his best foot forward while recruiting Chris throughout the course of time.”

McCullough, a New York native, also visited Memphis earlier this week, when the Tigers added Memphis wing Nick King.

“Memphis was good,” McCullough said. “[Coach Josh Pastner] is a good coach.”

McCullough also picked up an offer Wednesday from Florida State head coach Leonard Hamilton, Williams said.

He will take an unofficial to West Virginia on Sunday.
