  • NEW YORK — Kuran Iverson is focusing on four schools and is expected to make a decision sometime “soon,” according to his mentor, Andre Harrington.

The 6-foot-9 Iverson is considering UConn, Syracuse, Florida and Memphis at this point, Harrington told SNY.tv Friday.

Asked about a timetable on a decision, Harrington said, “Not sure, but definitely real soon to get the process over with.”

As reported here earlier, Iverson will spend his senior year at Fishburne (Va.) Military after playing at Hartford Northwest Catholic.

Former St. John’s star Moe Harkless will go to the Orlando Magic from the Philadelphia 76ers if the blockbuster four-team Dwight Howard deal goes through.

Harkless, the No. 15 pick in the NBA Draft, would go to Orlando along with Arron Afflalo, Nikola Vucevic and former Knick Al Harrington.

“We knew of the possibility of a trade early [Thursday],” Nate Blue, Harkless’s mentor, told SNY.tv. “Orlando, from what I heard, really wanted Moe included in the deal as Orlando looks to go younger with a new GM [Rob Hennigan].

St. John’s signees Chris Obekpa and Felix Balamou were both cleared by the NCAA to play basketball in the 2012-13 season.

“Chris and Felix were both academically cleared by the Eligibility Center,” Our Savior New American assistant Eric Jaklitsch told SNY.tv.

The news was confirmed by a source at St. John’s, who expects all of the team’s incoming players to be cleared.

Kentan Facey didn’t need many visits to pick his school.

The 6-foot-9 Long Island Lutheran forward committed to UConn late Wednesday night after visiting the school on his first trip in August. The news was first reported by the New York Post.

“He committed late last night,” Rens coach Kareem Memminger told SNY.tv. “It’s great situation. He’ll get playing time right away. The postseason ban [in 2013] won’t affect him at all. They just went for one year. It doesn’t affect him.”

A native of Jamaica, Facey had a strong summer, picking up offers from schools like USC, UCLA, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Memphis, St. John’s, Providence and Rutgers. He was to have visited St. John’s Friday and Rutgers next week, but pulled the trigger for UConn instead.

“It just felt right at the moment,” Facey told the Post. “Everything was just perfect — the situation, the campus is beautiful, the coaching staff is superb, all of that came together.”

Chris McCullough, a long and talented New York forward, has set visits to Memphis and Syracuse.

The 6-foot-10 McCullough will trip to Memphis Aug. 27 and Syracuse Aug. 29, his AAU coach, Terrance “Munch” Williams, told SNY.tv.

Williams said McCullough is also working out visit dates for West Virginia and Seton Hall.

McCullough holds offers from UCLA, Kansas, UConn, St. John’s, Syracuse, Iowa State, Arizona, Florida, Georgetown, Louisville, Memphis, North Carolina, Hofstra, Providence, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Temple, Villanova and West Virginia.
