    Following his official visit to Cincinnati, Jermaine Lawrence is down to three schools and will take his final official visit to St. John’s sometime in the coming weeks.

    BearcatLair.com reported that the 6-foot-10 Lawrence out of Pope John XXIII (Sparta, N.J.) is down to Cincinnati, St. John’s and UNLV, to which he has already taken an official.

    Fans chanted his name Saturday as Lawrence sat courtside when No. 11 Cincinnati defeated Wright State 68-58 at Fifth Third Arena. Cincinnati remained unbeaten after the win, but suffered its first loss Thursday night to New Mexico, 55-54.

    “Got so much love from the fans out here in Cincy,” Lawrence Tweeted.

    Lawrence is a New York native and the Bearcats have had a number of New Yorkers in recent years, from Lance Stephenson to Sean Kilpatrick and Jermaine Sanders.

    Knicks

    The Knicks must live without point guard Raymond Felton for 4-6 weeks but he will not have to undergo surgery on his fractured right pinkie, the team announced.

    Felton injured the finger in the third quarter of Tuesday’s loss to the L.A. Lakers, and he returned to New York Thursday to consult with a hand specialist.

    “This is not a season-ending injury,” Felton told reporters in Phoenix, according to Newsday. “It’s something that will last four to six weeks at the most.”

    Knicks point guard Raymond Felton has a fractured right pinkie that could keep him out 4-6 weeks, Newsday reported.

    “It was basically purple when I got up this morning,” Felton said of his finger during an interview on MSG at halftime of the Knicks’ 99-97 victory over the Phoenix Suns, according to The New York Times. “It’s sore, and it hurts. Even though I really haven’t been myself the last couple of games shootingwise, I still want to be out there for my teammates no matter what. I can care less about stats as long as we win the game.”

    The Knicks (21-8) announced that Felton, who injured the finger in the third quarter of Tuesday’s loss to the L.A. Lakers, would return to New York and miss Friday’s game against Sacramento and that a course of action would then be determined.

    Former Villanova point guard Ty Johnson is headed to South Carolina.

    The 6-foot-3, 192-pound Johnson picked South Carolina over Illinois because of his bond with coach Frank Martin.

    “Just the great relationship that I felt that I have with coach Frank Martin and [it] just gives me the best situation to be the best Tyrone Johnson I can be going to the University of South Carolina,” Johnson, a Plainfield, N.J., native, told SNY.tv by phone.

    Johnson visited South Carolina earlier this month and said Martin told him he could contribute at the point after sitting out a year until December 2013.
