  • Abu, Terrell to Announce at Sept. 7 Presser

Abdul Malik Abu and Jared Terrell will announce their college choices at a Sept. 7 press conference outside Boston.

Neither player has yet to decide on a school, sources told SNY.tv.

The 6-foot-8 Abu is considering Providence, UConn, Florida and N.C. State. His most recent visit was to UConn this past Thursday, and he has now tripped to all four schools.

The 6-3 Terrell is weighing Providence, Cincinnati, Rhode Island and Oklahoma State. He visited Oklahoma State this past week and will take an official to Rhody the first week of September. He is still planning a visit to Cincinnati.

The two have long talked about playing together in college — with Providence their only joint option — but there is no guarantee they will end up going to the same place.
