Special to ZAGSBLOG Looking to add more size to the roster with training camp set to open in a week, the Knicks announced late Monday afternoon that they have signed 6-foot-11 center Cole Aldrich. Aldrich, the 11th overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, will go to camp on a non-guaranteed deal, a source confirmed to SNY.tv. Including Aldrich, the Knicks have either signed or agreed to terms with 19 players. The NBA maximum for training camp is 20 players. The oft-injured Aldrich has dealt with knee issues since entering the league following a strong junior season at Kansas University. He has played in 89 games in three seasons with three different teams, holding career averages of 2.0 and 2.3 rebounds per game. Should Aldrich emerge from training camp with a roster spot, he would more than likely back up center Tyson Chandler. Follow Josh Newman on Twitter
