Tory Miller is headed to Colorado, he Tweeted Saturday.
The a 6-foot-8 power forward from New Hampton (N.H.) chose the Buffaloes over Marquette, Iowa and Arizona State.
“He loved the campus and had a good relationship with the staff,” his AAU coach, L.J. Goolsby of KC Run GMC, told SNY.tv. “Also, his summer league teammate Dom Collier will be joining him at CU.”
Miller is considered a powerful rebounding forward with a great frame.
“He’s a physical big who has the ability to run and step out and knock down shots,” Goolsby said.
Miller joins point guard Dominique Collier of Denver East in Colorado’s 2014 class.
Miller’s pledge to Colorado comes just one day after his New Hampton teammate Tyler Lydon, a 2015 small forward, pledged to Syracuse.
