According to the 2013-14 player survey based on opening rosters, 22 NBA players — by far, the most from one school — share a Wildcats pedigree.

    Bogans, Keith Boston Celtics
    Cousins, DeMarcus Sacramento Kings
    Davis, Anthony New Orleans Pelicans
    Goodwin, Archie Phoenix Suns
    Harrellson, Josh Detroit Pistons
    Hayes, Chuck Sacramento Kings
    Jones, Terrence Houston Rockets
    Kanter, Enes Utah Jazz
    Kidd-Gilchrist, Michael Charlotte Bobcats
    Knight, Brandon Milwaukee Bucks
    Lamb, Doron Orlando Magic
    Meeks, Jodie Los Angeles Lakers
    Miller, Darius New Orleans Pelicans
    Mohammed, Nazr Chicago Bulls
    Noel, Nerlens Philadelphia 76ers
    Orton, Daniel Philadelphia 76ers
    Patterson, Patrick Sacramento Kings
    Prince, Tayshaun Memphis Grizzlies
    Rondo, Rajon Boston Celtics
    Teague, Marquis Chicago Bulls
    Wall, John Washington Wizards
UK also had the most players in the NBA at the start of the last season with 19; it ranked second with 14 players at the start of the 2011-12 campaign (Duke, 16).

Considering their intense rivalry and top-notch programs, it’s not surprising that ACC powerhouses Duke and North Carolina tied for second with 15 alums each making opening night rosters. Four other programs had double-digit representation in the NBA — Kansas (14), Connecticut (12), Florida (12) and UCLA (12). Two others — Arizona and Georgia Tech — were on the cusp with nine each.
