  • Marvin Clark is closing on his college decision.

The  6-foot-6 post-graduate small forward from Bel Aire (KS) Sunrise Christian will visit Indiana the first weekend in March and then decide “a week later,” he told SNY.tv Sunday night.

The Hoosiers host Ohio State March 2 in Bloomington.

“My list consists of Indiana, Iowa State, Kansas State, Ole Miss and Seton Hall,” he said. “I’m going to take one more visit and then think deeply on my decision while sitting down and talking about the pros and cons of every school with my coaches. I’m thankful and blessed to be in this position.”

UNION, N.J. — After going off for a game-high 24 points including five 3-pointers and a vicious two-handed dunk in a 72-56 victory over St. Peter’s Prep at the Metro Classic, Kobie Eubanks said one school is working the hardest for his services.

“Pittsburgh,” the 6-foot-5 Eubanks told SNY.tv.

“They offered back in January but Jamie Dixon has come to see him,” Our Savior assistant Eric Jaklitsch said. “He saw him in practice, he’s been to campus twice to see Damon and all the coaching staff came to see Kobie as well.”

UNION, N.J. — For the second day in a row, Seton Hall-bound Ismael Sanogo found it incredibly difficult to watch his Newark East Side teammates from the bench.

Sitting out with a separated right shoulder, the 6-foot-7 Sanogo wore khahi pants, a blue hoodie and a winter coat as East Side pulled out a 52-48 OT victory over Hudson Catholic at the Metro Classic at Kean University.

“It’s really annoying not being able to help my team, especially as one of the captains,” Sanogo, who has been out a week since injuring the shoulder while reaching in to make a play, told SNY.tv. “I almost had a heart attack two days in a row. It’s not a great feeling.”

    DURHAM, N.C. – It wasn’t Duke-North Carolina.

Quite frankly, it never could be.

But Duke-Maryland was always something special.

Both schools knew it and so did their fan bases. And for one last time in the regular season as conference foes, there was an extra aura in Cameron Indoor Stadium.

“That was vintage Cameron, man,” Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski said after No. 8 Duke’s 69-67 win over Maryland in the Terps’ last game there before moving to the Big Ten next season. “That was one for the ages today.”

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – With 25.6 seconds left, all James Michael McAdoo could do was watch.

And he wasn’t even aware that would be the case right away.

“I didn’t know it was my fifth foul cause I didn’t know I got my fourth foul,” McAdoo said after going for 24 points and 12 rebounds in North Carolina’s 75-71 victory over No. 25 Pittsburgh. “But that’s a long story.”

HARTFORD, Conn. – Joel Embiid was still more of a soccer player when we first discovered Shabazz Napier.

Jabari Parker, Andrew Wiggins and Julius Randle?

They were just starting to generate some interest from college coaches.

    Napier three years ago?

He was cutting down the nets at the Final Four and winning a national championship as a freshman at UConn.
