Virginia Tech transfer Trevor Thompson is headed to Ohio State, choosing the Buckeyes over Indiana and Purdue.

“Well it’s official I’m a Ohio State Buckeye Show Me Love #BuckEyeNation !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” he Tweeted.

The 7-foot Thompson averaged 5 points and 4.7 rebounds last season as a freshman. He opted to transfer after Buzz Williams was hired at Virginia Tech.

Ohio State has already landed Temple transfer Anthony Lee, a 6-9 forward who can play right away as a fifth-year senior.
