Iowa State has landed 7-1 left-hander Giorgos Tsalmpouris from Greece, according to ESPN’s Fran Fraschilla.
Sources confirmed Fraschilla’s report that he will be eligible next season. He also reportedly considered Temple and Davidson.
” Tsamouris is thin but skilled,” Fraschilla Tweeted. “Had a lot of schools on him late. Was pursued by major Greek clubs, as well.”
Iowa State has also added UNLV transfer Bryce DeJean-Jones and high school point guard Clayton Custer. Both will be eligible immediately.
The Cyclones are also in the mix for Oregon State transfer Hallice Cooke, who is visiting St. Joe’s this weekend and is also considering Dayton and others.
