  • Marist Holding Interviews for Coaching Position (UPDATED)

    Marist College will begin holding interviews this week for its vacant coaching position, sources told SNY.tv.

    In the mix for the job are Patrick Beilein of West Virginia Wesleyan (pictured), the son of Michigan coach John Beilein; MIke Maker of Williams; and Kyle Smith of Columbia.

    Beilein will interview this week and some of the others may as well, sources said.

    Colgate coach Matt Langel has decided not to pursue the Marist job, sources told SNY.tv.

    The Marist job came open when former head coach Jeff Bower left to to become the GM of the Detroit Pistons.
