    NEW YORK
    —  Former Syracuse point guard Tyler Ennis says he believes he could land with the Orlando Magic or Toronto Raptors in Thursday’s NBA Draft.

The 6-foot-3 Ennis gave ESPN’s Andy Katz that information during a sit-down on Tuesday before meeting with the rest of the media Wednesday.

The Magic pick at No. 4 and No. 12 in the Draft, while the Raptors hold the No. 20 pick.

“I worked out for Orlando twice so they got to look at me in different situations, they got to look at me more than once but as far as workouts I think every team that called me in knows my background, knows what I can do in a game situation so it’s just going to come down to the whole draft nigth really,” Ennis said Wednesday.

The Knicks have also been linked to the former Syracuse and St. Benedict’s Prep star, but still must acquire a first-round pick to have a chance at him. New York is in the market for a young point guard to replace the beleaguered Raymond Felton.

“So many trades could happen,” Ennis said. “Nobody really knows what the teams ahead of them are going to do, so you just gotta wait and play it out and hopefully I’m going to end up on a team where I’m going to be successful.

“Right now I have a good feeling about the teams I worked out for. A lot of them that had me in need point guards and hopefully I impressed them in my workouts and I end up on a team that needs me.”

DraftExpress.com has Ennis going No. 19 to the Chicago Bulls, while Chad Ford has him going No. 20 to the hometown Raptors.

Ennis, who was featured in this SNY.tv mini-documentary during his time at St. Benedict’s, is one of seven Canadians eligible for the draft.

Andrew Wiggins, the likely No. 1 pick of the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Michigan guard Nik Stauskas are also expected to go in the first round, which explains the large number of Canadian media covering the draft.

“That’s huge to have that many people go that high in the draft,” Wiggins said. “I don’t think that’s been done before in Canada. You get like one or two, but now we have three guys. I think it’s big for Canada and no matter what happens, Canada will support us no matter what.”

Said Ennis: “To have seven potential draftees, potentially the No. 1 pick, potentially two other lottery picks, I think regardless of the outcome of how many players are drafted, just to have the opportunity an to see seven paleyrs potentially go in the draft is something that Canada is going to remember forever.

“We might not ever have this many but we’re definitely going to have future players in the draft.”
