Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski and Illinois head coach John Groce will visit 2016 St. Louis Chaminade guard Jayson Tatum on Tuesday, Tatum confirmed to SNY.tv.
Andrew Slater of 247Sports first reported the news.
Tatum recently cut his list to 10 schools: Arizona, Duke, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Mizzou, North Carolina, St. Louis, UConn and Wake Forest.
Tatum, arguably the No.1 player in the Class of 2016, said that Duke is a school that he is looking forward to visiting.
“I really want to go to Duke, I haven’t been there yet,” Tatum told SNY.tv at the Elite 24.
Tatum has also spoken about attending college with two good friends, Harry Giles and Dennis Smith Jr.
“It would mean a lot,” Tatum told SNY.tv in June. “That would be something that would be very special for all of us, that is, if all three of us come together and make it happen. It’s a pretty big piece for me with the relationships to see who you would play well with on the basketball court.”
Coach K and assistant Jon Scheyer will also be in Wednesday to see 2016 Gill St. Bernard’s guard Tyus Battle.
