  • Recruiting Roundup: Weekend Visits & Tidbits

    Here’s your look-ahead to the weekend’s recruiting visits and other news. This list will be updated throughout the weekend:

    **Malik Newman will be at Ole Miss Saturday for the SEC football game with Alabama. He is also slated to visit Texas A&M Oct. 11, and will reportedly release a top five before the start of his high school season.

    **Justin Robinson, a 6-1 point guard from Manassas (VA) St. James, is at UNLV. He plans to announce Oct. 12, and is also considering Maryland Providence and Virginia Tech.

    **Seton Hall on Friday night hosted a slew of big New York/New Jersey names including Isaiah Briscoe, Rawle Alkins, T.J. Gibbs, Bryce Aiken, Asante Gist and Veer Singh. Read more here.

    **Chris Clarke, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Virginia Beach (VA) Cape Henry Collegiate School, trips to Tennessee. He’s also been to UConn, Creighton and Virginia Tech.

    **Skal Labissiere,  the 6-foot-10 forward from Lausanne Collegiate School (TN), also visits Tennessee. He goes to Baylor next weekend and has also tripped to Georgetown and Kentucky.

    **Braxton Blackwell, a 6-7 2016 forward from Nashville (TN) C.P.A, visits Tennessee unofficially.

    **Ernest Aflakpui, a 6-foot-9 power forward from Radnor (PA) Archbishop Carroll, takes an official to St. Louis Oct. 3-5. He’s already been to VCU, St. Joe’s, Temple and Rhode Island.

    **P.J. Dozier, a 6-foot-7 2015 shooting guard out of Columbia (S.C.) Spring Valley, will visit North Carolina (Oct. 3), Georgetown (Oct. 17), South Carolina (Oct. 24) and Louisville (Oct. 30).

    **Brandon Ingram, a 6-8 forward from Kinston (N.C.), also visits North Carolina this weekend before tripping to Kansas (Oct. 10) and Kentucky (Oct. 17).

    **Dennis Smith, a 2016 point guard from Fayetteville (NC) Trinity Christian, and 2016 shooting guard Seventh Woods of Columbia (S.C.) Hammond also visit North Carolina. (Reggie Rankin of ESPN reported the Woods visit).

    **Georgia Tech is hosting 7-5 center Tacko Fall, 6-4 guard LeGerald Vick and 2016s Alterique Gilbert, Brandon Robinson, Kevon Tucker and Christian Keeling, according to HoopSeen.com.

    **Doral Moore, the 7-footer from Montverde (FL) Academy, visits Wake Forest, as does John Collins, a 6-9 power forward from West Palm Beach (FL) Cardinal Newman.

    **Tevin Mack, a 6-7 2015 small forward from Columbia (S.C.) Dreher, visits Clemson. His top five includes Clemson, Georgia, USC, VCU and UConn in no order.

    **Eli Thomas, a 6-9 2015 big man from Lancaster (TX), will visit SMU this weekend and Texas A&M next weekend. He’s also been to LSU, Illinois and Oklahoma State.

    **Aaron Falzon, a 6-8 forward from Northfield (MA) Mount Hermon, visits Northwestern after going to Harvard last week.

    **T.J. Gibbs, a 6-2 2016 shooting guard from Seton Hall Prep (N.J.), will visit Seton Hall Friday night and then Rutgers Saturday for the Michigan football game.

    **Corey Manigault, Craig Lecesne, Eli Wright, and Chase Harler will be at West Virginia, according to Adam Finkelstein.
