Jaylen BrownHere’s a few quick recruiting hits entering the weekend.

**Jaylen Brown, the 6-foot-7 wing out of Marietta (GA) Wheeler, still plans to take an official visit to Michigan but has no date set. “We are definitely going to visit Michigan!” Mechalle Brown, Jaylen’s mother, told SNY.tv, reiterating comments she made to UMHoops.com. “We want to get there for a basketball game if possible, but it depends on Jaylen’s playoff schedule.” Brown is also considering Kentucky, Kansas, UCLA, Georgia, Georgia Tech and North Carolina and will commit in the spring.

**North Carolina head coach Roy Williams and assistant Steve Robinson will be at Kinston (N.C.) High on Friday to attend the Senior Night of Brandon Ingram, his father Tweeted. The 6-8 Ingram is also considering Duke, N.C. State, UCLA, Kansas and Kentucky.

**Louisville coach Rick Pitino will see 2016 Gill St. Bernard’s guard Tyus Battle Feb. 12, his dad told SNY.tv. The 6-6 Battle has a list of 11 schools, including Kentucky, Duke, Louisville, Michigan and Ohio State, but may soon trim it.

**Michigan head coach John Beilein and assistants from Oregon and Pittsburgh were among those watching 2016 Orangeville Prep (Ontario) point guard Jamal Murray at the National Prep School Invitational in Providence. The 6-5 Murray, who may reclass to 2015, will be in New York next week for the Basketball Without Borders Camp. Pitt offered Murray this week.

**Iowa State is expected to watch 2015 forward Cheick Diallo of Our Savior New American this weekend. Diallo’s team plays twice, including Sunday at the PrimeTime Shootout at Roselle (N.J.) Catholic. The 6-9 Diallo is also considering Kentucky, Kansas, St. John’s and Pitt. As reported here, Diallo remains wide open in his recruitment.
