Jayson Tatum Annihilates Greek Defender With Poster Dunk, Then Gets Blocked at the Rim by Croatia in Gold-Medal Game

Jayson Tatum made his presence felt on his European vacation.

The 6-foot-8 guard from St. Louis (MO) Chaminade posterized this Greek defender and appeared to bloody the poor young man during Saturday’s semifinal victory.

It seems that Jayson Tatum may have broken (and at the very least, bloodied) a Greek player’s nose with a dunk. #FIBAU19

En route to 13 points in the gold-medal game, when the USA beat Croatia, 79-71 in overtime, Tatum got some of his own medicine when Croatia’s Nik Slavica blocked Tatum’s dunk attempt at the rim during a tight game.

As far as recruiting goes, Tatum is down to Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina and St. Louis.
