Bam Adebayo didn’t end up making it to N.C. State on Saturday, but the Wolfpack are hosting a big-time trio anyway.
Rawle Alkins , a 6-foot-3 combo guard from Word of God Academy, posted this picture to Twitter of himself along with 6-10 center Udoka Azubuike and 6-2 point guard Dennis Smith, who has already committed to the Pack.
“Imagine,” Alkins Tweeted.
N.C. State would love to land all four of the aforementioned players, and certainly appears to have a shot at landing a few of them. Head coach Mark Gottfried and assistant Rob Moxley headed out to visit Adebayo on a helicopter on the first day coaches could visit recruits this fall.
They have also been to Word of God to see Alkins and to Florida to see Azubuike.
In other N.C. State news, Katy (TX) Cypress Lakes guard De’Aaron Fox said “it’s probably not going to happen” with N.C. State, which already has Smith locked in at point guard for 2016.
