NICK RICHARDSKentucky assistant Tony Barbee passed through Elizabeth (N.J.) St. Patrick on Wednesday to watch 2017 big man Nick Richards in an open gym.

Kentucky has already offered the 6-foot-11 Richards.

“It was a good experience,” Richards told SNY.tv. “It was like any other college coach, to be honest. I’m just trying to get better. He just basically watched me work out and he said that he liked it.”

Richards said he’s “not sure” if he will visit Kentucky down the road. For now, the native of Jamaica is working on improving his game.

“I’m working on my face-up game right now,” he said. “Whatever I need to do for us to win, I’ll do it.”

Duke associate head coach Jeff Capel was in last Wednesday and UConn head coach Kevin Ollie came in Tuesday.
