“He’s going to take a couple days, man, and really sleep on it and process everything,” Overland Park (CO) coach Danny Fisher said by phone. “Weigh the pros and cons of both places and then I think he’s going to be ready to make his shoutout.”

The NCAA early signing period runs Nov. 11-18.

The 6-foot-10 Davis is ranked the No. 10 power forward in the Class of 2016.

He has already taken an official to Indiana and now is done with his trip to Mississippi State.

NEW YORK –– St. John’s head coach Chris Mullin says he knows people in Indiana from his time with the Pacers, so he wouldn’t mind flying to familiar territory to personally find out why the Indianapolis-based NCAA has yet to decide on the academic eligibility of Red Storm freshman point guard Marcus LoVett just six days before the regular season.

“It’s absurd and I’m 100 percent frustrated,” Mullin said after his Johnnies topped Sonoma State 64-46 in Saturday’s exhibition tilt. “I’m thinking about flying to Indianapolis myself. I have some friends there with the Pacers, I may fly to Indianapolis myself to investigate.”

jamal-murray-action-21NEW YORK — Tyler Ennis has known Kentucky point guard for Jamal Murray for several years now. The two Canadians played pickup games against one another and their fathers both coached with the CIA Bounce AAU program that also produced former No. 1 NBA Draft picks Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett.

“I actually saw [Murray] when he first got discovered, when he first started coming out to the gym and stuff,” Ennis, a one-and-done at Syracuse and former St. Benedict’s Prep standout, told SNY.tv before he got the start for the Milwaukee Bucks against the Knicks Friday night at MSG.

“And we didn’t really know how old he was. He was just kind of playing with us, and when he went back and started playing with his own age he just started dominating. So I think he’s showed how talented he is throughout this past summer and in high school, so I’m just excited to see him when games start at Kentucky and see how he does over there.”

NEW YORK — One past Duke star is wishing good luck to a potential future one.

Jabari Parker, a one-and-done at Duke before declaring for the 2014 NBA draft, is glad that Harry Giles picked the Blue Devils as his future team on Friday.

“I just wish him all the best of luck, I know Harry personally,” Parker told SNY.tv exclusively before his Milwaukee Bucks met the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. “I’m so glad that he picked Duke but he was considering some pretty good schools, too. But personally I appreciate that he’s a part of the family now.”

The 6-foot-10 Giles chose the Devils over Kentucky, Kansas and Wake Forest, as many expected he would.

GilesOne day after it was revealed that he had suffered his second torn ACLHarry Giles got his college situation squared away by pledging to Duke on ESPN.

The Blue Devils had long been considered the favorite for the 6-foot-10, 230-pound Oak Hill Academy (VA) power forward and his ACL injury on Tuesday night obviously didn’t change things.

“I felt like Duke was the place for me,” he said on ESPN. “Every time I go to Duke it feels like home. Every time I sit down and talk to Coach K it’s a special feeling. Every time we talk, it’s always the same feeling, it feels great. Not different vibes every time we talk, it’s always the same thing. So I felt like family was at Duke and I just felt comfortable there.”

4_2971152Wendell Carter, the No. 1 power forward in the Class of 2017, met Wednesday night with Harvard coach Tommy Amaker, who is hoping the big man chooses the Crimson over Duke and others.

He also visited Georgia on Monday and will trip to Alabama on Saturday for the football game with LSU.

“Harvard was very interesting and a definite consideration for Wendell,” Carter’s mother, Kylie Carter, told SNY.tv. “The message: Attend an institution that can give you more than you give them. And Wendell also said he has thought about Coach Amaker’s favorite quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson…’Don’t go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.'”
