Five-star unsigned Prolific Prep (CA) wing Josh Jackson tells Rivals he knows where he will attend what will likely be his only year of college.
Rumors floated last week that Jackson was about to pull the trigger, rumors that never came to fruition, but Jackson said they were more than just rumors.
“Originally I was supposed to make a decision on Thursday,” Jackson said. “There were a few of my family members and close friends that couldn’t make it at that time so we cancelled it. It’s juts a real special thing I want to do and I want to have the people who have been supporting me the whole way through there.”

Michigan State was originally the front-runner for Jackson — who is currently the projected No. 3 pick in the 2017 DraftExpress.com Mock Draft – but recent momentum has swung the way of the Jayhawks.
“I took my official visit to Kansas a couple of months ago,” Jackson stated. “When I stepped into that gym it was just the loudest gym I had ever stepped into in my entire life,” Jackson stated. “I was just thinking I would hate to be the opposing team right now, but I would love to be playing for Kansas right now. Just one major thing is their fans. Their fans are amazing, probably the best fans in college basketball.”
Despite his overwhelming praise for Kansas, Jackson stated he had the best relationship with Arizona head man Sean Miller who he played under with Team USA.
Jackson said he and Coach Miller talked since Arizona’s departure from the tourney.
“He didn’t really talk too much about the game,” Jackson said. “He talked a lot more about how he was sweating the whole time. He said he had just bought this new shirt and this guy had been bragging to him the whole time about how amazing he was going to look in this shirt. Then he gets to sweating and you could just see right through the shirt.”
Meantime, Jackson and Arizona commit Kobi Simmons put this out on social media:
