SUWANEE, Ga. — Troy Brown Jr. was one of the top performers at EYBL Session 4, averaging 18 points, 12.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.

Shortly thereafter, Brown’s Las Vegas Prospects squad earned themselves a wildcard slot into Peach Jam.

The opportunity to play in North Augusta, S.C. is something that Brown says he has been looking forward to for a while.

“It means a lot to me,” the 6-foot-6 Class of 2017 shooting guard out of Las Vegas (NV) Centennial High told SNY.tv. “Last year was a great experience, and going back to Peach Jam as a senior means a whole lot. We need to get back there, make a clean slate and do what we have to do to win the whole thing.”

With Brown focusing on Peach Jam, as well as the opportunity to try out for Team USA U17s, he says that he currently doesn’t have a schedule of his visits.

“Not right now,” Brown said. “I have a couple ideas in my head of where I want to go, but nothing official yet.”

Brown says he does have a schedule in mind of when he wants to take his visits.

“I’ll probably be cutting down my list after Peach Jam or the end of AAU,” Brown said. “Arizona, Cal, Kansas, Stanford, Oregon. They’re all recruiting me to play the one, but they also say that they like that I can play the one through the three.”

While Brown currently doesn’t have any visits scheduled, he does know what he will be looking for when he goes on campus for his official visits.

“I’m going to be looking at the environment of each school,” Brown said. “I want to be comfortable wherever I’m at, so I want to be able to enjoy everything with the school. I want to be able to have a relationship with the coaching staff on and off the court as well.”
