The news was first reported by Jon Rothstein of CBSSports.com. Jankovich served as the SMU head coach last season when Brown served a nine-game suspension for NCAA violations related to the Keith Frazier academic fraud case that also led to SMU being banned from the postseason last year.. Brown is the only coach to win both an NBA (Detroit) and NCAA (Kansas) title. Follow Adam Zagoria on Twitter And like ZAGS on Facebook#SMU coaches out were called off the road late last night, meeting early this morning. Will meet with players then hit the road again today.
