Carte’are Gordon, the 6-foot-8 power forward from Webster Groves (MO) High School, announced his commitment to Saint Louis on Wednesday via Twitter.
Gordon, who cut his list of schools to three on Tuesday, was also considering Kansas and Missouri. He becomes the first commit for the Billikens 2018 class. Saint Louis received a commitment from 2017 4-star forward Hasahn French on Monday.
“There were a lot of reasons why I chose Saint Louis, but more than anything I just felt it was the best fit for me,” Gordon told ESPN. “Staying home will help me a lot.”
