Lance Thomas, the 6-10, 210-pound power forward from Norcross (GA) High School, announced his commitment to Louisville Friday via Twitter.
“It came down to the confidence with the team and the confidence they have in me,” said Thomas. “Also, the style of play, the campus vibe, and how it’s just a college town were major factors.” Thomas took his official visit to Louisville earlier this month (Oct. 21-22). He joins Malik Williams, Darius Perry and Jordan Nwora as the fourth commit in Louisville’s 2017 class. “I can play the four spot and succeed with shooting, scoring, and rebounding,” said Thomas on what he brings to this Louisville team. “I’m excited to just get better and work hard to reach my full potential.” Thomas chose Louisville over Florida, Miami, and USC.
