UConn’s Terry Larrier is on crutches and awaiting the results of an MRI following a non-contact knee left injury suffered during Monday’s loss to Oklahoma State, ESPN reported.

He did not play in UConn’s 93-82 victory over Division II Chaminade Tuesday in the Maui Invitational.

The 6-foot-8 Bronx native is averaging 13.5 points and 5.0 rebounds for the Huskies.

“Terry gets an MRI right now, and we’ll find out his status,” UConn coach Kevin Ollie said.

UConn (2-3) also continues to be without freshman point guard Alterique Gilbert (dislocated shoulder).

“Alterique is still in the decision-making process,” Ollie said. “We looked over the MRI. We’re going to have him consult with his mother, with his parents, what he wants to do with his future. He’s going to be a big part of the decision. We’re not putting pressure on him either way. It’s his decision.”

Without both players, Jalen Adams had 25 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds, Rodney Purvis had 23 points and Vance Jackson added 16 for UConn.

UConn faces No. 13 Oregon in the fifth-place game on Wednesday.
