Michigan State coach Tom Izzo says stud freshman Miles Bridges will return on Wednesday against Rutgers, but won’t start.

Bridges has been out since injuring his left ankle on Dec. 1.

The 6-foot-7 Bridges is averaging 16.6 points, 8.8 boards and 32.5 minutes in eight games. He also has 12 blocks and 16 assists. He is projected as the No. 14 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by DraftExpress.com.

The Spartans remain without forwards Ben Carter and Gavin Schilling.

Ryan Slocum goes one-on-one with the MSU freshman from Flint.
