Alfred Hollins, the 6-foot-6 small forward from Hillcrest (AZ) Academy, announced his commitment to Oregon State on Wednesday.
“The coaching staff and players were really open and showed me around,” Hollins told The Oregonian. “It was very honest. They didn’t sugarcoat anything and kept it up front. I liked that. Honesty really helps you as a player. You don’t want to go somewhere where the coaches tell you you’re doing good when you’re really not.” Hollins took his official visit to Oregon State earlier this month (Mar. 3). He joins Ethan Thompson and Zach Reichle as the third commit in the Beaver’s 2017 class.
