  • St. John’s Mullin to Miss First Two April Live Weekends After Hip Surgery

    St. John’s coach Chris Mullin with miss the first two live periods in April after undergoing hip surgery that prevents him from traveling, team sources told ZAGSBLOG.

    The April live period begins Friday and includes the first Under Armour Association event of 2018 at Basketball City in Manhattan where numerous high-profile recruits and St. John’s targets, including 2018s Naz Reid and Luther Muhammad of Sports U, 2018 Moses Brown of New Heights and 2019s Scottie Lewis and Bryan Antoine of Team Rio.

    St. John’s also postponed Wednesday’s home visit with Reid due to Mullin’s surgery.

    Dan Matic, director of basketball operations, will go on the road in Mullin’s place.
