Brian Bowen, the 6-foot-7 small forward from La Lumiere (IN) School, will announce his college decision Saturday at 4 p.m. Eastern on Twitter.
The Courier-Journal reported Thursday that Bowen was enrolled at Louisville, and a source confirmed to ZAGSBLOG that Louisville will add him. Bowen visited Louisville for an unofficial earlier this week (May 29).
Landing Bowen would give Louisville the No. 6 recruiting class in 2017 per 247Sports. He also took official visits to Arizona (Oct. 29), NC State (Oct. 31), Creighton (Nov. 11), Texas (Nov. 25), and Michigan State (Jan. 29).
Bowen’s commitment will leave point guard Tremont Waters as the only uncommitted prospect left in 247Sports Top 100. Waters took an official visit to LSU earlier this week (May 31).
