His father also says that the head coaches to call were Minnesota coach Richard Pitino, Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski, Kansas coach Bill Self, Indiana Coach Archie Miller, Notre Dame coach Mike Brey, UCLA coach Steve Alford and Wisconsin coach Greg Gard.
Hurt also received calls from assistant coaches including North Carolina assistant Hubert Davis, Louisville assistant David Padgett, Minnesota assistant Ben Johnson, Kentucky assistant Joel Justus, Kansas assistant Jerrance Howard, Indiana assistant Tom Ostrom, Creighton assistant Darian DeVries, Duke assistant Jon Scheyer, UCLA assistant David Grace, and an assistant from Ohio State.
Hurt is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 8 player in the Class of 2019.
**Cole Anthony, the 6-foot-2 point guard from the PSA Cardinals and Archbishop Molloy, has heard from the following schools: Indiana, Baylor, North Carolina, Duke, Illionis, Oregon, UCLA, Maryland, Georgetown, Stanford, Villanova, UConn, St. John’s, Miami, Wake Forest, Lousiville, Virginia, Kansas, Notre Dame, Utah, Arizona, UNLV, Pitt, Ohio State, Cal and Memphis.
**James Wiseman, the 6-foot-10 power forward from The Ensworth (TN) School, says Kentucky, Duke, Texas, Alabama, Memphis, and Florida were among the schools to call at midnight on Thursday. He currently holds offers from schools such as Alabama, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Tennessee, Texas, and Vanderbilt. Duke, Kentucky, Memphis, and Washington have also been showing interest.
**DJ Jeffries, the 6-foot-7 small forward from Olive Branch (MS) High School, named Ole Miss, Florida, Mississippi State, and LSU as the four schools that reached out to him at midnight Thursday morning. Jeffries has also received offers from Georgia, Iowa State, Kansas, Maryland, Memphis, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, USC, among others.
**Tyrese Maxey, the 6-foot-2 shooting guard from South Garland (TX) High School, says Baylor, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, UNLV, and USC were among the schools to call at midnight Thursday morning. Maxey also holds offers from California, Florida State, Georgia Tech, LSU, Oklahoma, SMU, Stanford, TCU, Texas, among others.
**Josh Nickelberry, the 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Oak Hill (VA) Academy, named USC, Georgia Tech, and Auburn as the three schools to reach out at midnight Thursday. Kentucky, Miami, Florida State, Florida, Michigan, UNLV, Memphis, NC State, Marquette, Oklahoma State, Stanford, Tulsa, Wake Forest, Baylor, and UConn have also reached out since. He is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 57 overall player in the Class of 2019.
**Jaiden Delaire, the 6-foot-8 small forward from The Loomis Chaffee (CT) School, says Rutgers, Tulane, Rhode Island, Columbia, Kansas State, UConn, and Yale all offered this past week. He also picked up an offer from Hofstra and has received interest from Louisville, Stanford, and Florida.
**Kobe Brown, the 6-foot-7 small forward from Lee (AL) High School, has heard from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Auburn, Memphis, Georgetown, Kansas State, Providence, Georgia, Ole Miss, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Stanford, Miami, UMass, Maryland, Richmond, and UAB since Thursday, per his father.
**Issa Muhammad, the 6-foot-9 small forward from Lakeside (GA) High School, listed Iowa State, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, Rutgers, and Yale as the schools to reach out on Thursday. Muhammad has also received offers from Georgia Tech, UNC Charlotte, Ole Miss, Xavier, and Rice.
