Devon Dotson, the 6-foot-2 point guard from Providence Day (NC) School and Team Charlotte (NC), will take an official visit to Kansas from August 25-27, his father told ZAGSBLOG Thursday.

Arizona is no longer an option for Dotson, his father told ZAGSBLOG. Dotson visited Arizona for an official last week (Aug. 1). Dotson also plans on setting up an official visit to Florida.

Dotson named his top eight schools earlier this summer (June 14) and now that Arizona is out of the running, he is currently considering Kansas, Florida, USC, Maryland, Wake Forest, Miami, and Ohio State.

According to 247Sports, Dotson is ranked as the No. 32 overall player in the Class of 2018 and the No. 3 player from the state of North Carolina. Playing with Team Charlotte on the Under Armour Circuit this summer, Dotson averaged 18.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game, in 17 games played.
