  • Recruiting Roundup: Weekend Visits and Tidbits

    Here’s a look ahead to this weekend’s recruiting visits:

    **Kansas hosts 2018 recruits Zion Williamson, and recent commit David McCormack for “Late Night in the Phog” this weekend (Sept. 30). They will also host 2019’s Malik HallN’faly Dante, Zach Harvey, Samuell Williamson, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, and James Wiseman, per sources.

    **Villanova hosts the 2019 duo of Bryan Antoine and Scottie Lewis for their unofficial visits. Antoine and Lewis spoke with ZAGSBLOG earlier this year about the possibility of a package deal.

    **Rutgers hosts a trio of 2018 commits in Mac McClung, Ron Harper Jr., and Montez Mathis for their official visits during Midnight Madness (Sept. 29). Mamadou Doucoure, who will not be visiting this weekend, helps make up the Scarlett Knights 2018 class, which is ranked by Scout as the No. 20 recruiting class in 2018.

    **Anthony Nelson, the 6-foot-4, 175-pound Class of 2018 point guard from the NY Lightning and South Kent (CT), will visit Seton Hall this weekend after tripping to Dayton last weekend. He hits Clemson next weekend.

    **Bol Bol, the 7-foot-1 center from Mater Dei (CA) High School, trips to Oregon this weekend (Sept. 30) for his first official visit. Bol will also take official visits to Kentucky for Big Blue Madness (Oct. 14), UCLA (Oct. 21), Arizona (Oct. 28), and USC (Nov. 4). He took an unofficial visit to UCLA earlier this month (Sept. 23).

    **Romeo Langford, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard from New Albany (IN) Senior High School, will take his second official visit to UCLA this weekend (Sept. 29). Langford, who cut his list to seven last month, took his first official visit to Vanderbilt last weekend (Sept. 22) and has official visits planned to North Carolina (Oct. 13) and Kansas (Oct. 27). He also has an unofficial visit planned to Indiana for next month (Oct. 21).

    **Keldon Johnson, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Oak Hill (VA) Academy, takes his fourth official visit to Maryland this weekend (Sept. 29). Johnson, who cut his list to four earlier this week, has taken official visits to Texas (Sept. 1), NC State (Sept. 8), and Kentucky (Sept. 15).

    **Devon Dotson, the 6-foot-2 point guard from Providence Day (NC) School, takes his fourth official visit to Maryland this weekend (Sept. 29). Dotson has already taken official visits to Arizona (Aug. 1), Kansas (Aug. 25), and Florida (Sept. 16). Dotson is no longer considering Arizona. He spoke with ZAGSBLOG about his Florida visit earlier this month.

    **Quentin Grimes, the 6-foot-4 point guard from The Woodlands College Park (TX) High School, will take his second official visit to Kentucky this weekend (Sept. 29). Grimes, who cut his list to four earlier this month, took his first official visit to Texas earlier this month (Sept. 22) and has official visits planned to Kansas (Oct. 13) and Marquette (Oct. 20).

    **Bryan Penn-Johnson, the 7-foot center from Wasatch (UT) Academy, trips to UCLA this weekend (Sept. 29) for his first official visit. Penn-Johnson currently has no other official visits planned but took an unofficial visit Depaul earlier this year (Aug. 25).

    **Ayo Dosunmu, the 6-foot-4 combo guard from Morgan Park (IL) High School, trips to Wake Forest this weekend (Sept. 29) for his second official visit. Dosunmu, who named his final seven earlier this month, took his first official visit to USC (Sept. 15) and will take an official to Illinois next month (Oct. 13).

    **Will Richardson, the 6-foot-4 point guard from Oak Hill (VA) Academy, will take his second official visit to Oregon this weekend (Sept. 29). Richardson also has an official visit planned to Gonzaga for next month (Oct. 13).

    **David Duke, the 6-foot-3 combo guard from Cushing (MA) Academy, trips to Virginia Tech this weekend (Sept. 29) for his second official visit. Duke, who named his top five last month, took his first official visit to Florida (Sept. 22) and also has an official visit planned Villanova (Oct. 6). Indiana and Providence are also included in Duke’s top five.

    **Noah Locke, the 6-foot-2 point guard from the McDonogh (MD) School, takes his fifth and final official visit to Florida this weekend (Sept. 30).  Locke, who cut his list to eight last month, has taken official visits to Ohio State (Aug. 22), Providence (Aug. 31), Xavier (Sept. 9), and Michigan (Sept. 16).

    **Eric Ayala, the 6-foot-5 combo guard from IMG (FL) Academy, will take his second official visit to Maryland this weekend (Sept. 29). Ayala, who named his top nine in August, took his first official visit to Miami earlier this month (Sept. 22) and has official visits planned to Ohio State (Oct. 6) and Syracuse (Oct. 13).

    **Jermaine Harris, the 6-foot-8 power forward from Capitol Christian (MD) Academy, trips to Xavier this weekend (Sept. 29) for his third official visit. Harris has taken official visits to West Virginia (Sept. 15) and Rhode Island (Sept. 22) and has official visits planned for Kansas (Oct. 6) and Miami (Oct. 20).

    **Landers Nolley, the 6-foot-7 shooting guard from Langston Hughes (GA) High School, will take his fourth official visit to Virginia Tech this weekend (Sept. 30). Nolley, who announced his final four last week, has taken official visits to Illinois (Sept. 1), NC State (Sept. 10), and Oklahoma State (Sept. 15).

    **Ian Steere, the 6-foot-9 power forward from Wesleyan Christian (NC) Academy, trips to NC State this weekend (Sept. 29) for his first official visit. Steere, who de-committed from Creighton earlier this month (Sept. 22), has no other visits planned.

    **Ty Mosely, the 6-foot-5 combo guard from Orr Academy (IL) High School, takes his first official visit to Bradley this weekend (Sept. 29). Mosely has taken unofficial visits to Michigan (June 26) and Illinois (June 6).

    **Colin Castleton, the 6-foot-10 power forward from Daytona Beach (FL) Father Catholic, will take his second and final official visit this weekend (Sept. 29) to Michigan. Castleton, who cut his list to two earlier this week, is also considering Illinois. He took his official visit to Illinois earlier this month (Sept. 1).

    **Filip Petrusev, the 6-foot-10 power forward from Montverde (FL) Academy, trips to Tennessee for his first official visit this weekend (Sept. 29). Petrusev will also take an official visit to Vanderbilt later this week (Oct. 1). Montverde coach Kevin Boyle spoke with ZAGSBLOG about Petrusev earlier this month.

    **Reggie Chaney, the 6-foot-7 power forward from Findlay (NV) Prep, takes his second official visit to Texas A&M this weekend (Sept. 29). Chaney took his first official visit to Arkansas earlier this month (Sept. 15) and has visits planned to Wichita State (Oct. 13) and TCU (Oct. 20). He is also considering Memphis, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, and VCU.

    **Trey Doomes, the 6-foot-3 shooting guard from University (FL) School, will take his first official visit to West Virginia this weekend (Sept. 29). Doomes has no other visits planned.

    **George Conditt, the 6-foot-10 power forward from Corliss (IL) High School, takes his third and final official visit to New Mexico this weekend (Sept. 29). Conditt, who cut his list to three earlier this month, also took official visits to Iowa State (Sept. 2) and Illinois (Sept. 15).

    **Javian Fleming, the 6-foot-9 center from Canton (MS) High School, will take his third official visit to Alabama this weekend (Sept. 29). Fleming, who named his final five last month, has taken official visits to Texas A&M (Sept. 15) and Georgetown (Sept. 22). He also has official visits planned to TCU (Oct. 6) and Iowa State (Oct. 13).

    **Warren Washington, the 6-foot-9 power forward from Mission Hills (CA) High School, trips to Oregon State this weekend (Sept. 30) for his second official visit. Washington took an official visit to Rutgers earlier this month (Sept. 1). He has no other visits planned.

    **Joe Hedstrom, the 6-foot-10 center from Hopkins (MN) High School, takes his second official visit to Wisconsin this weekend (Sept. 29). Hedstrom took his first official visit to Boise State (Sept. 22) and has no other visits planned.

    **Tre Wood, the 6-foot point guard from St. John’s College (NY) High School, will take his fourth official visit to VCU this weekend (Sept. 29). Wood has taken official visits to UMass (Sept. 8), George Mason (Sept. 15), and Towson (Sept. 22). He doesn’t have any other visits planned.

    **Lukas Kisunas, the 6-foot-8 center from Brewster (NH) Academy, trips to Old Dominion this weekend (Sept. 29) for his second official visit. He took his first official visit to UConn earlier this month (Sept. 25) and will take an official visit to Illinois next month (Oct. 7).

    **Jairus Hamilton, the 6-foot-8 small forward from Cannon (NC) School, will take an unofficial visit to Boston College this weekend (Sept. 30). Hamilton is yet to set any official visits but took an unofficial visit to North Carolina earlier this year (March 4).
