Marvin Bagley III has been cleared to return after getting poked in the eye Tuesday night by teammate Javin DeLaurier, according to the Team Bagley Twitter.

No. 1 Duke hosts Southern on Friday.

The 6-foot-11 Bagley missed most of Tuesday’s 88-81 win over Michigan State after the injury, but Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski he expected the freshman would be fine.

“Marvin should be fine for the next game,” he said Tuesday. “It was a scratch under his eye, but I’m not too concerned.”
