    Villanova remained No. 1 in the AP Top 25, while Virginia, winner of eight straight, moved up to No. 2.

    Purdue moved up to No. 3, followed by No. 4 Oklahoma and No. 5 Duke.

    West Virginia fell to No. 6 after having its 15-game winning streak snapped by Texas Tech.
