Xavier Pinson, the 6-foot-2 point guard from Simeon (IL) Career Academy, announced his commitment to Missouri on Monday via Twitter. He took his official visit to Missouri this past weekend (Feb. 3).
According to 247Sports, Pinson is ranked as the No. 366 overall player in the Class of 2018 and the No. 14 overall player from the state of Illinois. He joins Torrence Watson as the second commit in the Tigers’ 2018 class.
Pinson, who de-committed from Kent State last October, chose Missouri over his final three of Georgetown and Wisconsin. He had an official visit planned for Wisconsin next weekend (Feb. 10), but the visit was cancelled with his commitment.
