Since decommitting from Georgia, five-star point guard Ashton Hagans of Covington (GA) Newton says several schools are working the hardest.

“Since I opened it back up the schools that have reached out the most are Florida State, Marquette, Ohio State, South Carolina, Florida, of course Georgia too,” he wrote in his USA Today blog. “North Carolina has talked with my AAU coach, but not with us.”

Ranked the No. 1 point guard in the Class of 2019 by 247Sports.com, Hagans also has the option of going to school for 2018

“Everyone would take him right now,” Game Elite coach Chris Williams recently told ZAGSBLOG.
