PITTSBURGH — After losing to Villanova in the NCAA Tournament, Alabama freshman guard Collin Sexton says he’ll wait to evaluate his options.

The 6-foot-3 Sexton is a projected Top 10 pick in the NBA Draft. ESPN.com currently has him at No. 8.

“Right now, I’m worrying about my team and celebrating with my team,” Sexton said after scoring 17 points in an 81-58 second-round loss to No. 1 Villanova.

“We had a great season and also I gotta finish school and also I’m trying to finish with a 4.0.”

Sexton averaged 19.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists this season.

Likely one-and-dones Deandre Ayton, Trae Young, Michael Porter Jr. and Mohamed Bamba are also out of the tournament.

“For those who have next level talent, we want them to have a long professional career, but whatever’s in their best interest,” Tide coach and former NBA coach Avery Johnson said.
