Jamion Christian agrees to become new Siena coach

Siena has found its man.

Jamion Christian is the new head coach of the Siena men’s basketball team, a source confirmed to ZAGSBLOG.

ESPN’s JEff Goodman reported the deal is for five years.

Siena and Mount St. Mary’s coach Jamion Christian have agreed to a 5-year deal, source told ESPN. Official announcement expected today.

Christian, 36, is 101-95 in six seasons at Mount Saint Mary’s in the Northeast Conference.

He replaced Jimmy Patsos, who resigned April 13.
