Jacquil Taylor, the 6-foot-10 grad transfer from Purdue, announced his transfer to Hofstra, where he will be immediately eligible as the starting center.

Taylor battled injuries and also sat behind Isaac Haas and Caleb Swanigan during his time at Purdue. Hofstra hopes he will have a fresh start with them.

Taylor averaged 1.8 points and 1.4 rebounds in 6.1 minutes last season.
