Former McDonald’s All-American and Kentucky forward Sacha Killeya-Jones has transferred to NC State, he announced via Twitter.
Killeya-Jones chose the Wolfpack over Pittsburgh, Wake Forest, and North Carolina.
In his sophomore season at Kentucky, the 6-foot-10 Killeya-Jones averaged 3.3 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. He is the third transfer to join Kevin Keatts’ squad this spring including grad transfers Eric Lockett (Florida International) and Wyatt Walker (Samford).
Killeya-Jones will sit out next season and have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
In the wake of Killeya-Jones’ commitment, Saddiq Bey asked for his release from N.C. State.
“Saddiq Bey has asked for his release from his national letter of intent and we are in the process of granting his request,” the school announced. “Saddiq is a great kid and we wish him the best of luck in the future.”
