Whether or not he hears his named called during next week’s NBA Draft, Seton Hall’s Angel Delgado figures to wind up on a summer league roster.

“Delgado will be on someone’s summer league for sure,” one NBA executive told ZAGSBLOG on Thursday.

The 6-foot-10, 246-pound Delgado is not projected to be drafted but is showcasing his skill set for NBA clubs. He recently had a Pro Day in front of all 30 NBA teams.

Delgado, who won the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Center of the Year Award, averaged 13.6 points and 11.8 rebounds this past season. He has also worked out for the Spurs, Rockets, Lakers (twice), Jazz and Hornets, and was slated to be at the Kings on Thursday. He also has upcoming workouts with the Warriors and Sixers, per a league source.

“I’m just focused on the Draft right now,” he said recently. “I’m focused on getting the best of me right now and be positive the whole time.”
