The long and winding recruitment of Aundre Hyatt appears to be coming to an end.

Hyatt, the 6-foot-6, 215-pound small forward from the Miller (VA) School and Boo Williams, will make an announcement on Aug. 10 as to his college choice. His date had originally been Aug. 7.

He’s already visited Rutgers and Seton Hall and will still visit LSU (Aug. 4-6). Hyatt cancelled his Pittsburgh visit, a source confirmed.

“I’ve been thinking about red-shirting to develop my body and get a better feel for college basketball,” he said recently.
