Dahmir Bishop to Xavier

Dahmir Bishop, the 6-foot-4 combo guard from Philadelphia’s Imhotep Institute, committed to Xavier Friday night.

Bishop also considered Penn State, Rhode Island and VCU.

He took his official to Xavier Sept. 14.

“Dahmir is a very athletic combo guard,” said Imhotep coach Andre Noble. “He’s tough as nails and shoots it well. Has really improved his mid-range game.”
