Jeremy Roach, the 6-foot-2 point from Paul VI Catholic (VA), will take an official visit to Duke the weekend of Oct. 12 and an unofficial to Villanova the weekend of Nov. 3, head coach Glenn Farello said.
Ranked the No. 1 point guard in the Class of 2020, Roach holds offers from Duke, Kentucky, North Carolina and Villanova, among others. Farello said Roach “probablay is not going to be able to visit Kentucky or UNC in the fall.”
“The plan is to do official visits in the spring/summer and work from there,” Farello said.
Roach helped Team Takeover win the Peach Jam title, and also captured gold this summer with the USA U17 team at the FIBA World Championship in Argentina.
Duke is also involved for Class of 2020 shooting guard Brandon Boston and combo guard R.J. Hampton. Boston will visit Duke Oct. 19
