  • Duke regains No. 1 spot in AP Top 25 men’s hoops after Texas Tech win; Kansas drops to No. 5 after loss

    Zion Williamson and Duke returned to No. 1 in the AP Top 25 poll after beating No. 12 Texas Tech last Thursday at Madison Square Garden.

    Kansas dropped to No. 5 following Saturday night’s loss at Arizona State.

    Michigan, Tennessee and Virginia are ranked 2, 3 and 4, respectively.

    North Carolina dropped to No. 14 from 9 after losing to Kentucky, which moved up to No. 16.

    At No. 18, Marquette is the loan Big East club in the poll.

    Unbeaten St. John’s (12-0) remains unranked, but got votes and is effectively No. 28. Villanova and Seton Hall also got votes.
