Torrence has taken official visits to Butler (Oct. 26-28), Marquette (Oct. 29-31) and Cincinnati (Nov. 6-8), and Marquette is considered the frontrunner, per sources. Vanderbilt, Virginia, Washington, Maryland and Syracuse were also involved. The 6-foot-4, 190-pound Torrence is ranked the No. 5 combo guard in the Class of 2020 by 247Sports.com. In November, he broke down his visits. Butler: “The Butler visit was pretty good. I just felt comfortable and on that visit I got [the message] that if I go there, I would just be getting better in every situation that’s possible.” Marquette: “It was good. Coach Wojo asked me what he needed to do to get me there, and said that this is the spot for me. He felt like he can help me in any way possible, and he can make me better off and on the court.” Follow Adam Zagoria on Twitter And like ZAGS on FacebookCollege decision coming this Sunday for Symir Torrence ‘20 [ @EGB_ST4 ].
